Acre

A Deluge of Blessings,
after the fact,
like buses…
the ‘Confusion’
is simply the first
‘Test’ after crawling
out of the Desert
of Betrayal… Alone.
The Card Dealer
sat at Karma’s Table
is watching your
every New Move,
for future
Employment…
let’s grace ‘em only
bright ‘Sunshine’
Manoeuvres,
‘This Time’ around
Life’s Obstacle Course.

Fixing Yourself (Brick By Brick) With Patience

Your ‘Suffering’
is like a
full to the brim
shopping basket
of ‘Blessings’.
I almost said
‘Invisible’,
but they’re not
‘Invisible’…
you just haven’t
Progressed far
enough along
your ‘Journey’
to see them yet.
You know
the way a Cello
sounds?
it’s an ‘Aching
Depth’…
a similar thing
has happened
to your ‘Heart’.
While you were
busy ‘Healing’
and getting
‘Strong’ again…
The Universe
has been adding
a cellar
and attic room
to your… ‘Soul’.

Allay

It’s ‘Pressure’ build-up
which Time Bombs
inside ordinary people
… just waiting for a
provocational Trigger
… like kindling
needing only a match.
I suggest not inquiring
if someone Angry
… has considered the
benefits of Meditation.
Meaning well,
space and silence
… can oftentimes
defuse and dampen
‘Volatile Situations’
… far quicker
and more effectively
than ‘Explanation’ can.

Active

This is where we will weld back
together the mental splinters
and fragments
with the New Knowledge
we have earned along
the pathway of loss and pain.
Do not yearn for the sunrise
at midnight,
focus on traversing
and surviving
The Witching Hour… instead.
Learn to acknowledge
‘Divine Timing’
rather than trying to compass it,
action and effort
will bring both the Light back
and push the Darkness further
behind your Forward Movement.

The Sound Of Seagulls In The Distance

… All for ‘Liberty’…
I do not need to Win
… but, to be Rid
of every Restriction.
A ‘Sense of Ease’,
to ‘Breathe Deeply’
… no ‘Weight’
upon these Battle
Worn shoulders…
‘You’, left far behind.
