Terror
Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, Ukraine…

It is, as if it were snowing
But what is falling is ash

A woman runs away
From her collapsing house
Carrying a child in her arms

Sirens wail deafeningly
But the child, the child
Does not cry anymore.

Unanswered

Restless and turbulent
like the sea against the rocks
are sometimes the thoughts
the questions about the meaning
and the why
about the origin
and the decay:
about being.

An autumn leaf

An autumn leaf
that has freed itself from its tree
with the help of the wind knows
that there is no return to its tree
but it does not grieve, and whirls
enjoying its short-lived flight
towards unification with the earth.
